I am a mother of 4 kids, wife to one hot dude, lover of all things outdoors, ultra runner, personal trainer, running technique specialist who is passionate about improving peoples life through coaching them to reach their personal or athletic goals through better health, better movement, better training and most importantly finding joy in getting out and moving your body the way it was designed to move.

What fuels my passion for getting people to be healthy and love their body?

This comes from years of battling with an eating disorder, constant low self-esteem and never feeling like I was enough as an athlete and young girl. My way out of that darkness first came from truly learning loving myself in all stages of life, increasing my knowledge of how to actually live a healthy life, and then learning the love movement (exercise) not because I had to do it to loose weight, but learning to loved the way it made me feel inside and out. I grew to understand that being strong and healthy is far more important than being consumed in your weight and the number on the scale. I am healthier, happier and fitter today than I ever was in the past. 

When I’m not training clients what do I love training for?

I’ve always been motivated to work towards something, usually it’s been some kind of athletic goal or self-improvement.  From a young age running has always been my sport of choice to dedicate my time towards.  I started running at eleven years old and have kept it up my whole life. My running went from cross-country, to marathons and now ultra races. My main focus in the ultra race distance is the 50-100 miles races. This year I will be taking on my first 200 mile race. For me there is something truly exciting to me to see what this body of my can achieve through hard work, determination and balanced training. I love the way trail running makes me stronger inside and out, I love the unknown of what a race may bring and having to strategize when obstacles come in my way, and most of all I love using my own two legs to run through this beautiful earth and take in as much as I can.
